Today, The New York Times Communities Fund announced that the 探花精选 will be featured in this year鈥檚 annual campaign. The 探花精选 joins: CAMFED, Catholic Charities of Archdiocese of New York, Children鈥檚 Aid, Feeding America, First Book, Hispanic Federation, OneGoal, Per Scholas, and UJA-Federation of New York in this recognition.

For 112 years, The New York Times Communities Fund 鈥 formerly known as The Neediest Cases Fund 鈥 has encouraged readers to help people who are under-resourced and over-burdened and has coordinated a holiday season giving campaign as a direct way to do just that. To date, The Fund has raised over $330 million for nonprofit organizations that have helped countless individuals improve their circumstances and lead more enriching lives.

"With over 110 million people displaced around the world, mobilization is more important than ever. Our participation in the New York Times Communities Fund helps the 探花精选 not only to strengthen its response to crises, but to provide bold and better solutions for those affected.鈥 - David Miliband, President and CEO of the 探花精选

The 探花精选 works in over 50 crisis-affected countries, arriving at the onset of crisis and staying as long as we are needed. We also help refugees and other vulnerable people integrate into their new communities across dozens of cities in Europe and the Americas. The 探花精选 provides health care, helps children learn, and empowers individuals and communities to become self-reliant, always with a focus on the unique needs of women and girls.

Over the past 7 years, The Fund has supported a wide range of programs & services that have had significant impact for the 探花精选鈥檚 clients 鈥 from life-saving health care services in Bangladesh and Jordan; to COVID-19 vaccine administration in Uganda; to youth education and social-emotional learning programs in Seattle; to integration and legal services for recent Afghan arrivals in New York; and so many more.

This year, the generous funds from the 2023-24 Communities Fund campaign will help support the 探花精选鈥檚 work in the areas of child survival around the world and resettlement in the US.
