The 探花精选 in Dallas, with support from the and the , has become a part of the --a group of local communities dedicated to universal representation* for immigrants facing detention and deportation.
The 探花精选 in Dallas may be able to provide free legal representation in immigration court if:
- You are detained by ICE at Prairieland Detention Center
- You lived in the City of Dallas before being detained OR will live in the City of Dallas after release from ICE detention;
- You meet income requirements (i.e. cannot afford to hire an immigration attorney);
- And you do not already have an immigration attorney.

*The universal representation model, much like a public defender model in criminal court, means that everyone detained and at risk of deportation should have access to due process and a fair day in court even if they cannot afford an attorney. Immigrants facing deportation do not have the right to a public defender if they cannot afford a lawyer. The SAFE network works to fix this.
