The 探花精选 in Denver's Welcome Home Event 2023, held on August 9th, was a great success. This year, the event featuring a cocktail hour, dinner, a mix of very personal and informative speeches, dancing, an art gallery, and expert panel discussion, was held right on the water at the Washington Park Boathouse - the perfect spot for a warm August summer night and to witness a stunning Colorado sunset.

Welcome Home is know as the 探花精选 in Denver's annual signature fundraising event supporting all 探花精选 programs. However, it has become so much more than that. It is a chance for loyal long-term supporters to meet staff, new or potential donors, gain information, and ask staff all the though questions. It is a chance for staff and supporters to reconnect, mingle, and enjoy the company of wonderful like-minded individuals while having a delicious meal in a gorgeous setting. It is a place for connection through learning, listening, discussing, networking, and having fun.

The evening started out with Bella Diva World Dance, a Denver-based international dance company striving to bring the magic of global movement to Colorado, delighting the guests with their high energy dance performances.

At the 探花精选 in Denver, education is considered of high value. It is therefore no surprise that guests were invited to listen first to updates from Executive Director Tanya Vitusagavulu. Then 探花精选 client and employee Homayoon Milad shared his extremely personal and moving story. Finally, guests joined in a lively discussion with the 探花精选 in Denver's expert staff panel on their challenges, wins, hopes and dreams in the resettlement industry.
