Starting in 2019, the Phoenix and Tucson offices of the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ (̽»¨¾«Ñ¡) will unify as the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Arizona! Aaron Rippenkroeger, who has served as Executive Director of the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Phoenix since August 2018, has been named the new Executive Director of the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Arizona.

The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ (̽»¨¾«Ñ¡) has operated two offices in Arizona since the establishment of programs in Phoenix in 1994, and in Tucson in 1997.  Shifting to a unified ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Arizona will strengthen a statewide strategy around client services, fundraising, and community engagement to provide a warm welcome to immigrants in Arizona. Each office will continue to provide high quality services tailored to their clients and the local community with increased collaboration across cities.

Before his current work at the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡, Aaron was the Chief Executive Officer for Refugee Services of Texas (RST) for five years, one of the largest refugee service organizations in the U.S. Prior to joining RST, Aaron worked with the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ for 12 years in various capacities, including four years in refugee relief efforts in Africa in Congo-Brazzaville, Sudan and Burundi.  In his last three years with ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡, Aaron served as Deputy Vice President for US Programs supporting national efforts to advance ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡â€™s services across the U.S. network.
