It is with great pleasure that I share with you the news that ̽����ѡ has welcomed Sarah Terlouw as the new executive director of the ̽����ѡ Northern California offices.  Sarah is not new to the ̽����ѡ family.  She most recently served as the country director for the ̽����ѡ operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), consisting of 6 offices and a team of more than 700 staff across the country.  

Prior to her position in DRC, Sarah served as the ̽����ѡ country director in Nigeria and Central African Republic, and worked with ̽����ѡ’s youth programs in the US.  With a wide breadth of experience, Sarah has led efforts to provide high-quality programming in health, nutrition, and education to millions of people who have been forced to flee their homes due to persecution and violence. Sarah holds a Masters of Public Health and a Masters of Social Work from Columbia University.
