Our team at the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Kansas has been working hard to respond quickly to client needs, as everyone in the community is feeling the social, economic, and health impacts of COVID-19. While programming is currently not business-as-usual, we continue to serve refugee families and survivors of human trafficking remotely, many of whom need support from the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ and neighbors more than ever. 

 

  1. Fundraise from home: R

Spread the word about ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Kansas’ Emergency Fund. Raise funds to help newcomers maintain housing and food security, buy essential grocery and hygiene issues & get the childcare they need to continue to support their families.

 

  1. Help supply emergency food & hygiene kits:

Support families and individuals facing food & hygiene insecurity in this difficult time by purchasing shelf-stable groceries, home and personal hygiene items and other essentials on our Amazon Wish list. ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ staff continue to assemble and deliver kits to families, providing much needed pantry staples and cleaning materials.

We are currently working with our programs to determine creative ways volunteers can safely contribute their time and efforts remotely. If you’re are interested in either volunteering virtually by teaching or leading education classes or providing assistance with distributing items please email [email protected] and we will reach out!
