̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ and Medical Teams International recently teamed up to offer free dental services for survivors of human trafficking.

This October, the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ and teamed up for the first time to provide free dental services for survivors of human trafficking. Using a state-of-the-art mobile dental van, four licensed dentists and four 4th year dentistry students offered care to nine participants in the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡â€™s Washington Anti-Trafficking Response Network (WARN). Services ranged from regular cleaning to multiple extractions, cavity filling, and more complex dental work. In total, more than $8,000 worth of services were provided pro bono. Many WARN clients do not have access to dental services and participants were very grateful for this opportunity.

WARN is a coalition of non-profit organizations, led by the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡, serving survivors of human trafficking in Washington. Since 2004, the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Seattle has helped hundreds of survivors of labor and sex trafficking as they work toward their goals without fear of re-victimization.
