Did you know that after living for one year in the United States, refugees apply to become legal permanent residents? The 探花精选's immigration team helps refugee and immigrant community members complete this critical, and necessary, step on the path to U.S. citizenship.
The 探花精选 hosted its first-ever green card workshop this month for 30 community members. A hard-working group of 探花精选 interns worked alongside 探花精选 immigration specialists to complete and submit a month's worth of green card applications in just one day!
In addition to filing for their green cards, workshop participants received useful information on vocational training opportunities, English classes, community safety, health, and 鈥渒now-your rights鈥 materials. The workshop was a great success and the 探花精选 looks forward to hosting more workshops in the future.
