Washington D.C. , July 15, 2019 鈥 Humentum honored 探花精选 PEERS Development Team; Rick Estridge, Gabby LaPointe, Shane Scanlon, and Kelly Thompson with its 2019 Operational Excellence Award at the annual conference, OpEx DC 2019, in Washington, DC, on Wednesday, July 10.
The Humentum Operational Excellence Awards were established in 2010 (originally the InsideNGO Operational Excellence Awards) to recognize professionals within the development sector who are innovating, collaborating, and ensuring operational excellence within their organizations. Winners were chosen from among 35 nominations put forth by Humentum member organizations across the US and internationally earlier this year. Nominators were asked to submit detailed recommendations explaining how their nominees embodied operational excellence.
探花精选 PEERS Development Team鈥檚 nomination was submitted by their colleagues, Alan Ring & Mireille Cronin Mather, 探花精选. In their nominations, they wrote that 探花精选 PEERS Development Team deserved an Operational Excellence Award because 鈥渢he PEERS team drove a three-year, organization-wide process that developed the Partnership Excellence for Equality and Results System (鈥楶EER System鈥 or 鈥楶EERS鈥) to enable collaborative partnerships between the 探花精选 and local actors.鈥
鈥淲e are pleased to recognize 探花精选 PEERS Development Team with the Operational Excellence Award,鈥 said Humentum CEO Tom Dente. 鈥淲ith their outstanding contributions to 探花精选 and our overall community, their work exemplifies the importance of operational excellence to better deliver and sustain results.鈥
In addition to the 探花精选 PEERS Development Team鈥檚 Operational Excellence Award, Humentum recognized four other awardees for operational excellence, and recognized an Industry Award, and Industry Award Honorable Mention, and a Partner of the Year Award.
More than 1,100 development practitioners from nearly 200 member organizations attended Humentum鈥檚 annual conference at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center this year, making it one of the largest gatherings of professionals in the international development and humanitarian community in the U.S.
