For two consecutive years, Sudan tops the ̽����ѡ’s Emergency Watchlist, a list of countries most likely to experience a new or worsening humanitarian crisis.

Students were excited to make new friends and join the fun at this summer’s 23rd annual Newcomer Youth Summer Academy (NYSA)! This year's NYSA ran for five weeks from July 11 to August 16.  

The ̽����ѡ in NY’s Youth Programs team has seen tremendous growth over the past year and is excited to introduce the Youth ESOL program as one of its newest programs! The Youth ESOL program offers free online English classes to newcomer youth, bridging critical language gaps and increasing confidence at school.

While the global economy is predicted to have a “soft landing”, countries like Sudan are facing a cost-of-living catastrophe.
