As another caravan of Central American survivors of violence and abuse makes its way to the United States border, here’s what you need to know about the situation.  

Prior to their arrival in Wichita, the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ must set up a household that includes essential items for the arriving family. One way community members and organizations can contribute is to donate these goods which allows clients to to utilize limited resettlement funds on pressing needs such as rent and utilities as they work towards self-sufficiency.

Hawkar, a refugee from Iraq, was resettled in Phoenix in 2016. With the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡'s help, he adjusted to life in the US quickly and learned how to navigate the US financial system.
