After Nepal's worst earthquake in 80 years, thousands of quake victims received emergency assistance from the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡â€™s partner organization in Nepal, Association for Aid and Relief, Japan (AAR).

The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ has been working in Pakistan since 1980. Within hours of the devastating earthquake on Oct. 8, 2005, ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ teams were on their way to the hardest hit areas to distribute emergency supplies and assist the survivors, with special emphasis on the needs of women and children.
