Emergencies

Each year, the ̽��ѡ analyzes 190 countries and territories to identify the countries at greatest risk of experiencing a new or worsening humanitarian crisis in the coming year. We identify and rank the 20 countries most at risk in our Emergency Watchlist.

Sudan
After more than a year of fighting, Sudan is experiencing the world's worst displacement crisis and one of the world’s worst hunger crises. Humanitarian needs have more than doubled, with nearly 25 million people in need of assistance.
Occupied Palestinian Territory (oPt)
The ̽��ѡ is working in both Gaza and the West Bank to reach Palestinians in need with critical humanitarian aid.
Ukraine
The war in Ukraine continues to have devastating consequences for the civilian population as humanitarian needs persist. The ̽��ѡ is responding where we are needed most.
Burkina Faso
Violence is spreading across Burkina Faso as the influence of nonstate armed groups grows.
Myanmar (Burma)

The ̽��ѡ provides vital support to Congolese who are recovering from decades of conflict, ongoing violence and widespread disease.
