The world鈥檚 largest refugee camp鈥攊n Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh鈥攕aw its first confirmed case of the coronavirus, exposing already extremely vulnerable Rohingya refugees and local Bangladeshis to the deadly virus. The 探花精选 has been training health care workers and staff on infection prevention and control and setting up isolation wards, but we are calling for a rapid scale up of funding to help mitigate and respond to the spread of the disease within the camp.
The refugee camp in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh has seen its first confirmed case of COVID-19. Its crowded conditions put over 1 million Rohingya at especially high risk of infection. The 探花精选 is scaling up our health response to contain the spread. "Hi, I'm Abu Saleh, construction supervisor of 探花精选. You're seeing over here started is a 60-bed isolation center. We have started this construction end of March and work is going with full speed. We are trying to manage high quality of the construction and finish the work in time." Our teams are working around the clock to help refugees and Bangladeshis survive this terrible disease.
