As we embark on the season of giving — and giving thanks — all of us at the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ would like to thank our supporters for helping refugees and families worldwide.

Because of our supporters, courageous families like the Wins have a chance at a brighter future. Featured in this video, Tin Win, his wife Bar Mee and their two daughters are Burmese refugees who lived in Mae La, a refugee camp hosting 40,000 people along the Thailand-Myanmar (Burma) border.

Tin Win and his two daughters knew no other place, as they had lived in Mae La their entire lives. Bar Mee fled violence in Myanmar when she was just 10 years old and had lived in Mae La thereafter.

In the proud American tradition of giving refuge to the vulnerable, the Wins were granted sanctuary in Salt Lake City. Watch and share this short video about how ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ supporters helped the Wins rebuild their lives.
