While her youngest daughter receives medical care only available in the United States, Rosa must stay in Mexico. But even as she is separated from her own family, the mother of three has thrown herself into helping other migrants and asylum seekers as the manager of the 探花精选-supported triage hotel in Ciudad Ju谩rez, Mexico.

The former hotel, now shelter, was created in order to ensure asylum seekers and migrants could properly quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, Rosa and her team work tirelessly to ensure asylum seekers and migrants like her receive the support they need to continue their journey and stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
