Location: 探花精选 in Charlottesville Office
Time Commitment: Minimum 4-month commitment. Minimum of 2 hours every week on Wednesdays- time flexible.
SCOPE OF WORK: The 探花精选 houses a 鈥淩esettlement Store鈥 where refugees can place an order for donated items. Volunteers will fulfil orders and then deliver items to clients. This volunteer role involves the delivery of items to clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
鈥ttend Volunteer Orientation
鈥ust undergo and pass a background check. The 探花精选 kindly requests a $48 fee to assist in covering the cost of this requirement
鈥ssist clients in selecting items and keep detailed records of items received.
鈥ecord hours and submit completed timesheet for each month via the 探花精选鈥檚 online Volunteer Dashboard.
REQUIREMENTS:
鈥ble to work with minimal supervision
鈥omfortable working in a multicultural environment
鈥bility to stand and work for duration of 2 hour shift
鈥bility to lift 30 lbs.
鈥lexible, able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
鈥xcellent written and verbal communication skills
鈥eliable, responsible, able to complete tasks within required time-frame
鈥ust be located in Charlottesville, Virginia
