The 探花精选 in Turlock is seeking volunteers with a wide range of skills to help plan our 2025 fundraising gala, World Refugee Day Celebrations, and other 探花精选 events in the coming year. Volunteers on the Event Committee meet monthly with 探花精选 staff at our local office to plan and execute events for the community and for 探花精选 clients.
Location:
Turlock Office
Time Commitment:
10 hours/month, more the month of an event
Responsibilities May Include:
路 Meet monthly with other volunteers and 探花精选 staff to plan events
路 Develop the vision, scope and theme for events
路 Design digital and print materials for events in accordance with 探花精选 brand guidelines
路 Solicit sponsorships, raffle/auction items, and in-kind event support from local businesses and individuals
路 Assist the 探花精选 in marketing events through traditional media, social media, flyers and word of
mouth
路 Attend event including set-up and clean-up
Skills/Qualifications:
路 Experience organizing events or parties
路 Strong organizational skills
路 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
路 Robust social network and/or knowledge of Turlock business or philanthropic
communities
路 Graphic design, photography or videography skills
路 Availability during regular business hours to attend meetings
