The program "Bridging Futures" has been completed, focusing on promoting cooperation and exchanging knowledge and best practices regarding socioeconomic integration and fostering autonomy for former unaccompanied children with refugee backgrounds who are transitioning from adolescence to adulthood (ages 18-23), through transnational cooperation between two partners from Greece and Norway.

During the program, professionals working with this population from Greece and Norway collaborated to exchange best practices in education, employment, and integration, and ways to manage the challenges faced by professionals and young beneficiaries. A delegation from Greece, including employees from the Empowerment and Employability Department of 探花精选 Hellas, as well as representatives from the Migrant Center of the Municipality of Athens and the UNHCR, traveled to Norway to meet with the staff of the Child and Welfare Service of the Municipality of Oslo and participate in a hands-on seminar on career management and employment for former unaccompanied children with refugee backgrounds transitioning from adolescence to adulthood.

探花精选 Hellas shared its expertise in job readiness and visited the Municipal Center for Unaccompanied Minor Refugees of the Municipality of Oslo to learn about its work. Both sides identified numerous common points in their approach and discussed experiences and concerns regarding best practices in engaging young people and collaborating with businesses and the local community. A common finding was the need for individualised and holistic support for young people, the usefulness of organised summer work for young people at no cost to businesses but funded by the state, while significant differences were observed, such as the resources enjoyed by the Municipality of Oslo and the service provided only to individuals who have been granted asylum.

探花精选 Hellas (Greece) and  (Norway)collaborated from December 2024 to April 2025, aiming to develop a methodology that will lay the foundation for a stable bilateral cooperation between the two countries. As a deliverable of the project, 探花精选 Hellas created a Job Readiness Guide using the Social and Emotional Development Skills (SEAD) Methodology it has developed, which is applicable in job counselling and education programs for young people with refugee backgrounds.

The project titled "Bridge for the Future" is implemented with a grant of 鈧79,176 from the EEA Grants (European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2014-2021), representing the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway for a green, competitive, and inclusive Europe.
