Amidst the journeys undertaken by numerous asylum seekers across the Americas in pursuit of safety and security, they encounter a significant challenge: the lack of reliable information to alleviate their hardships. Hence, the ̽����ѡ supports displaced people on their journey by facilitating access to digital platforms where they can encounter information and services they need.

This World Refugee Day, the ̽����ѡ honored refugee changemakers, highlighting the remarkable – and everyday – ways that refugees influence art, food, ideas, policy and culture. The ̽����ѡ in Silver Spring spoke with Su, a 14-year-old refugee from Myanmar resettled by the ̽����ѡ, about her commitment to advocating for human rights in her home country.

The ̽����ѡ helps people whose lives have been shattered by conflict and disaster, reaching those who need it most despite politics, hostilities or harsh climates.
